i finally got one last week. took 2 seconds to put it on, but i soon realized that i needed the old check valve from the HRC kit in order not to let air in under vacuum...
how do you solve this problem? when i asked for the bleed valve from vortech i asked for them to send all of the stuff i'd need to install it and have it work. instead of sending me a check valve along with it, they sent me the AN adaptors for the "in" and "out" for the bottom of the S-FMU. great.

it's 10/32" npt i believe, not sure though. the hole is about 1/8" wide, but i have other 1/8" npt things and they're bigger than that. either way, you need to get a male 10/32" npt hose barb(the tapered ridged kind), or whatever size that is, 10/32 sounds right, that screws in there. then the chack valve goes on the hose barb.

You can get that fitting from HRC direct. Its only a few bucks for it. When you get the bleed valve from vortech, it wont come with that fitting or a check valve. The extra fittings they give you is for the FMU hookup with the bleed valve.
