Guys, I am going to buy some 5XX injectors. I want to know which ones to get. I know that I need a specific kind. High impedence, I think? Anyways, which are the best for the money and which do I need so that I can use them without a piggy back system right now.

Well I don't know that anything that big will run without a piggy back of some type. I believe your car won't even idle without some SERIOUS work on the SFMU. I know someone (Murix I think) is running 440's though so it could be possible, but I don't know of anyone doing it. I know some guy's have gone that big when using the DFI, are you running it? BTW you can get the rustang injectors from summit pretty cheap, or you could go with RC or Hahn. For the money though you should look into the accell injectors from summit, I think they have 52lb ers. Dino said he thought the pin style injectors were better than the disk type RC uses. I bought some 44LB injects from them for like 2 bills.

Well from what people have been telling me when I get my 2.6 in the extra displacement will require more fuel at idle. Does that sound right?

I am not sure what size to get. I have 415's now and I think they are maxed out with my current setup. That is why I want to go bigger.

Yeah with the 2.6L you will need more fuel for sure. How are you controling idle pressure right now on the 2.0L, SFMU? I just don't know if you want your idle pressure to be as low as I would assume it would have to be to run inj. that size. I would imagine that if you can get it to idle at a pressure your comfortable with then it wouldn't be a problem, but too low of pressure creates spray problems doesn't it? I am at a little bit of a disadvantage here because I don't know your current set up.

I am using an Aeromotive 1:1 FPR with an external fuel pump. So I could adjust the fuel pressure there, but if I go too low on the pressure, will I get enough fuel when I am boosting 15 psi?

Oh that's right you have that super fuel system from ARD... With a 1:1 fpr controlling things it's all ratios and what not. I would talk with corbin or use his fuel pages to help you find the right mix. As far as adjustment goes though you may be able to set the base fuel pressure and then static as well. I am not yet using my areomotive, but I "believe" that w/the sfmu you can adjust both. Acctually though with that areomotive being a 1:1 the lower idle pressure will affect how much fuel you have at full boost, however thereticly it would remain relitivly constant because the injectors would be supplying more fuel at the top as well. I AM NOT A FUEL EXPERT THOUGH, so please don't take this as gospel. Anyone else want to chime in here????
