#46271, "S-fmu not seeing boost." Apr-06-03 11:05 AM by whodatt1
well I installed my new S-fmu, and just placed it where the old FMU was, so for now (until it warms up) it is working in conjunction with the stock fpr. Well the problem is that some times it will see boost and other times it will hessitateand then see boost and other times it will just not see it. now everything is plugged as it should be. There are no boost leaks and the lines are all plugged directly to the intake mani (as they should be). So the only thing that I can think of is that little restrictor that came with it. Did you guys install that? I don't see the point of having it. can anyone explain why we need it, or not need it?
Thanks

Yes,put in the restictor inline to the top port on the SFMU. Since you still have the stock FPR hooked up, the SFMU will NOT function properly. Take it off.
