to fine tune the sfmu. Yeah a drive through parts store would be badass. But i think the problem is that you would be going to the store for parts to fix your car that may or may not run! emoji

hey thanks for the info! i am putting together a kit, and was curious... thanks for the hookup! and yes, i thought about those warm, saturdays, when you are cruising around, with money to blow, and you would have a huge walmart like performance place, drive thru, so you could order what you want like a burger joint, and drive thru and be done.. emoji

anyone ever thought of a drive-thru parts store? that would be cool!

That check valve is used to prevent a vacuum leak at that valve. It allows the valve to bleed off boost, but doesnt allow air back into the valve when the car is in vacuum. You can buy that check valve at autozone and advance auto. Its pretty small and is 1/2 white and 1/2 black.

you need the certain thread... not any needle valve will work it gotta have the right thread.... and that valve only allow bleed off... the vacuum valve that you add prevents anything from going back in....

I was justlooking at my check valve and it is exactly the same as above. Also air travel both ways through the valve. It will suck air back into the SFMU. I didn't think air would be able to be sucked back in unless there is a one way valve in the vortech and this item is simply just for bleeding off boost as desired(?).

O.k. first off I know this post is over 4 years old, but I was looking around for a check valve for the sfmu bleed valve setup and found that the one from clippard is the cheapest(even with the s/h charges). Is that all that is needed for the bleed valve setup or does something need to be screwed into the check valves other 10-32 port so nothing is sucked in during vacuum? Need help asap so I can get this together on my daily.

You need the small check valve so you don't have a vaccume leak.
