Okay maybe im just an idiot, but for some reason its just not clicking in my head. Using corbins "building a fuel system", ive calculated that using the stock 235cc/min injectors at 85% duty cycle, assuming im going to be running 6 psi (~215hp) then my fuel pressure at max boost should be 101.392psi. That makes sense. So then if i try to calculate how much pressure I should run at 5psi, it comes out to 100.392psi. 4psi would be 99.392, and so on and on. That means at 0psi of boost I have to run 95psi of fuel pressure? Something doesnt sound right to me there.

What am i doing wrong? Why cant I figure out the pressure that I need to run at other boost levels? Am I using the wrong equation? Am i filling in the wrong number? Its starting to give me a headache... emoji

It sounds like you're not recalibrating the HP figure or something....but that doesn't matter because you actually found the number that you really need anyways - fuel pressure at maximum boost. You already know that your static pressure is going to be around 50 psi, so you can figure out what it should be along the way by calculating the rising rate. Let's just say that your static fp is 50, then your rising rate is (101 - 50) / 6 or (max fp - static fp) / max boost. That's 8.5 psi rise in fuel pressure for each pound of boost. At 1 psi of boost your fp would be 58.5, at 2 it would be 67, and so on and so forth.
