BOOST CONTROLLER - Apexi AVC-D Electronic

Do you guys reccommend this Boost Controller? Anybody have any experience with this particular boost controller? I'm really interested in it, but need you guys to back me up? I don't wanna have to spend a grip of $$ if this thing is a piece of junk. Here's the info on this boost controller that I got off the net.

"The AVC-D is a low-cost, high-performance boost controller created specifically for drag racing. AVC-D is an open-loop boost controller. This allows boost levels to be specified without constraints imposed by the factory ECU. The AVC-D interpolates a boost curve from 3 boost duty settings points at 3000, 5000, and 7000 RPM. The AVC-D also features a speed sensitive boost adjustment function for better traction off the line, and a scramble boost function."
