Well the time has come to finally get some gauges back in my car. Is there a tripple gauge pod that replaces the whole stock pillar? When the shitheads broke into my car they ripped out the stock pillar so I would like to buy the gauge pod that doesnt have to fasten to a stock one since my stock on is gone.
(in turbo section because why would you have gauges without a turbo?)

Well I don't know about the full pillar replacment, but I have an extra stocker laying around I could send you. It has one broken mounting clip though so I don't know if you want it or not. I wouldn't charge you of course. But if you can't find the whole replacement then just call tall mitsu, I think they were like $11-$15 for the stocker. They have a pretty good discount and are more local to you. Or you could call Bob Kise I don't know if it would be cheaper though as it is a mitsu part.

The autometer full triple pillar pod can be mounted without the original stock piece if you are creative (I'll explain that in a second). The autometer unit is an exact fit and covers the entire a frame. The full pillar sneaks behind the bottom part of the dash and covers the stock unit all the way to the beginning of the roof carpet.
It is a nice and clean fit, however, I didn't like the way autometer mounts it. Autometer recommends drilling holes in both the new and old a-frame covers. You then use plastic push screws to snap the two together. The original clips on the stock piece are used to hold the old assembly to the metal a-frame. Once the stock a-frame plastic cover has been removed a couple of times it doesn't seal as tight against the a-frame (especially from the pulling of the added weight of the gauges).
Here's the creative part. I drilled two holes at the top of the full pillar pod and then pushed the whole assembly in place. I then used a drill bit (a sharp tap) to mark where holes would have to be drilled into the a-frame. I then drilled holes into the a-frame and used two sheet metal screws to hold the whole assembly in place. This gaurantees a tight fit. I also put a screw between the first and second gauge and the second and third gauge to bring the piece as cloes as possible to the metal a-frame so that you do not see any gap (hides all the wiring - be careful not to hit the wires when drilling)when looking through the front window. If you assembly the full pillar pod in this manner, you dont need the stock piece. Just as a note, I painted all screws black (I'm picky ).
Another benefit of using screws is that if you ever have a problem with the gauges I would much rather be able to remove a few screws instead of dealing with plastic *frustrating* clips.
Be prepared to spend some time getting everything to mount up perfect. I spent many hours organizing wires, cutting wires, and making the right connections. This is one area the definitely draws peoples attention when they look at your car and to me a sloppy job will definitely show.

I have the Autometer triple. I am sure it has to be installed over the stocker cause there is no holes. nothing. But I could not fit all the wires for three elec. gauges thru the bottom so it had to go. With enough double tape you can use it with out the stock..
