#45560, "oil outlet line and water line ?"

Ok 2 questions: Where is the best place to drill the hole for the oil outlet from the turbo on the oil pan, does it really matter where it is drilled on the oil pan? Also does it matter which one of the 2 coolant holes in the turbo I use for the inlet?

Thanks,
Chris

The oil to the turbo should be teed off from your oil feed line coming into your engine. Tne oil pan should be drilled about 1" down and 1" across from the 3rd mounting hole from the right of the oilpan. The hole should be about .75" in diameter.

What turbo are you using? There should be 4 holes, 2 for oil inlet/oulet and 2 for coolant inlet/outlet. Let me know what kind of turbo you have and ill let you know where the oil lines go.

its a t-25, yes I know it's small, but starting small then building up, anyways its not a normal looking t-25. For the water lines it has to brass fittings coming off of it, I already know what holes are oil and water but I just need to know what is the inlet and outlet for the water ones. Also when you said 3rd mounting hole from the right of the oil pan do you mean the right when facing the front of the car or facing the back of the car? Lastly when you say 1" down 1" across, what do you mean by across, left or right? Thanks for your help.

Thanks,

i would say that actually the best place to put it depends on your setup...for the return line make sure it clears your downpipe and doesnt interfere w/ your o2 sensor(problem w/ stars setup and dp)...its just an oil return line, gravity takes it down, to my knowledge i dont know of a best place and why it would matter...i could be wrong, i'm still learning too
