Who has actually done this? I know that the pipes will get you relatively close to the IC, what I’m looking for is how close, and what am I going to need to do to make it work if decide to go this route?

I used the lower HRC piping and used part of the stage 1 piping for my 1G setup. I've got plenty of pics on my friend's web site, but unfortunately, it exceeded its bandwidth.
