Is it possible to put an HRC Stage 2 turbo kit on my RS without messing with the internals? Does the car stay reliable? How many of you are doing this?

NOTE: I ask because I have the feeling that all the NA mods will disappoint in the end. Not to mention the fact that it would cost me 5 times as much to get me half as fast as a turbo would.

Sorry if this has been answered already in the archives or something.

I'm doing this. If you keep it at 5-6psi, then you should be fine. Our engines are very strong, and will have a good life with these kits. Just look at HRC site, he ran for over a year with his kit, taking it to the track a bunch of times, bringing it up to 10psi and all, and it still lasted over a year.

Just don't get greedy with the boost:-) Uh Wyatt? emoji like 20psi and stuff. lol

Yes I'm sure you'll be able to run well over 5 psi with a stage 2 kit. Check out Wyatt's site for more info.

Its absolutely safe. Just make sure your engine is in good operating order, and you have 93 octane gas and you will be fine. I am adding an intercooler this summer and I plan on keeping it at 8psi for daily driving. 10psi with race gas for the track emoji
well, 10psi for the shootout for sure...thats with the Super 16G and Hahn's side mount intercooler.

Just make sure you have enough fuel for the power that you are seeking! (stock 230cc injectors unfortunately are not big enough to support HP @ 10psi !.. upgrade to RC 310cc and you can boost 10psi all day emoji
