I'm running a Hahn stage 1 and from what I read on the chart provided with the S-FMU the way the thing came seemed to be like it would work for me. Well the car kept dying so all I did was I swapped out the spring that was already inside and put in the dark hard one. I didn't mess with cal disks or rings or anything. I turned the pressure up to 50 psi at idle and I hit about 100 under full boost. My question is whether or not this setup is correct for what I'm running? Because I'm still going by the Hahn specs but I didn't know if those were just for the Cartech or that's just what's recommended for a boosted 420A period. Or is it just kind of a 'go with what works' sort of deal?

Yes, the setup does sound about right. What I wold do if I were you, is to get the fine tuning bleeder valve and lean out just slightly the boosted fuel pressure, so that at 6 psi, you're hitting around 90 psi, instead of 100. That's somewhat high. Also, if you lower your base fuel pressure at idle to closer to 47 or so, you may be able to get back a few psi from the top end as well. The bleeder valve can be bought from Vortech or HRC. It costs about $30.

It's a go with what's "right" kind of deal. You need an appropriate amount of fuel pressure per psi of boost. It doesn't matter what type of FPR you use. Just so long as it performs the function correctly.
