I have heard that the turbo burns up real quickly. is this true? soemthing like it burns up quicker because it only has oil goign through it and not coolant

No............my t3/t4 can be water cooled, but i plugged it up.

Not true. No different than the thousands of other T3/T4B/E or any other turbo) running around with no water line. Not many bolt on kits use the waterline although you could if your worried about it. I have heard that you should run a water line to ball bearing turbo's (twin ballbearing ballistic not Turbonetics ballbearing turbo's) but those cost $1400+ so I guess the extra work is no big deal.
