#44682, "Nitrous Question.... Turbo is a no go.... Help me learn about NITRO POWAH"

Turbo is a no go for me. My dad tells me that he'll get me a nitrous kit for my birthday because he knows if I use it it'll be @ the track. He says with a turbo I'm liable to kill myself. Although I only have 1 speeding ticket (In a Mazda B2200 for Gods sake) and NO WRECKS (Jinx) Anyhow, I'll get on with my questions.

These Questions are aimed towards an AUTOMATIC Eclipse just so you know...

1) What kit is the safest to use?
2) What fuel management things should I get?
3) My compression is PERFECT & the engine is strong, what is the biggest/safest shot I could use.
4) What upgrades should I get in order to run a bigger shot?
(Like Zex cams etc....)

5) What 1/4 times should I expect?

I know I should save the $$ and go turbo but money is a big issue with me. I want to get my car looking good and if I had a turbo I WOULD SPEED. I plan on getting some 19's and rocking the stock look… it’ll just look real "Show like" but I also want it to be quick when I want it to. Thanks for the help guys!

-Chip

Nitrous express and NOS both make good wet kits for our cars. I have a NX kit on my car and love it. You should be able to run a 75 shot safely on stock internals.

Why no more than 75? I'm not saying that you're wrong or anything I just want a reason.

Because people have run 75 shots for a long time without anything breaking, but as soon as they upjet to a 100 shot, things melt or otherwise fail.

our vavles have this little thing that they like to do called melt when you spray more than a 75 shot. If you threw in some different valves and maybe forged pistons I figure you could hold more

Translation, just don't do a 100 shot.

Okay...
