first of all, i'm gonna start out small...and then upgrade from there! it's pretty much a certainty that i'm going turbo....it's just a matter of how i do it now. i'm pretty much gonna base my decision on the feedback i get from you guys. i looked into the ner turbo kits and they look like a good way to go....but i saw in previous posts that it takes a while to get the kit from them. anybody running on a ner kit? if so, how do you like it and would you suggest buying one? if i get a lot of negative feedback about the ner kit, i'll probably end up just going with a kit i put together myself(i really don't wanna go that way, it seems like sooo much more work). like always thanks in advance, i really appreciate it

NER . NER doesn't exist anymore. Only a handful of kits ever came out and some of them were even incomplete. He has since disappeared with everyone else's money and delivered no product. I'm sure you'll get plenty of angry responses here.

NER, faked that he went bankrupt and stole everyones money, including my $2300.00. He is gonna get what he deserves sooner or later. Go with HRC, they will not steal your money.

Go to HRC's site... hahnracecraft.com, you will get all the pricing and INFO you want to know there. It is by far the best turbo kit for the 420A to get!! Star Performance is a cleaner kit, cause it's more show quality, but HRC does their research and KNOW what they are doing! And Customer Service... rated A+++++++ They are VERY nice and Helpful!!!!
Just some advice.... Don't PLAY with boost!!! ONE psi makes a DIFFERENCE!!! I would stay below 7-8 psi until you get internals or at least free up ALL your back pressure!! 3 INCH exhaust from the turbo back!! But you won't be dissapointed once you get the turbo!!
I use to have a White 99 GS Sport with a Star Stage II Ball Bearing T3/T4 turbo...it was fun untill....well those who remember me know Oh Ya...this is what I have now... a 99' GSX...

And have lots of money. I blew my engine 9 months ago, blew my clutch about a month ago and just last night I blew my tranny. Be familiar with the word BLOW. After you go turbo, you will have minor problems. It's a curse man. As soon as you're done fixing something, something else breaks.

Listen up, here's exactly what you should do.
Buy the HRC Stage1 kit from HowellAutomotive for $2,200. Buy a Vortech SFMU to replace the Cartech FMU, buy a Missing Link to replace the FCD, buy larger injectors. Buy a Boost guage, Air/Fuel gauge, and EGT gauge. Buy one degree cooler spark plugs (NGK BKR7e-11's)
Install the kit, and run 5psi. Tune it so your run a tad rich, and boost away, you will LOVE it. And this setup is compeltely safe, as long as you make sure your EGT's are in check and you are only boosting 5psi and have perfect fuel pressures for idle and WOT.
I am running exactly what I said above, the car running really strong, and is perfectly in tune. It's great, and I'm now saving to upgrade, step by step.
This way you have a great turbosystem from a reputable company, the security of a safe engine while boosting, and the adrenaline of boost.
