#44159, "how many "races" are contained in my 10 lb bottle?"
i heard you get about 4 really good passes from a 10 lb bottle. is that true? when i say pass, i mean a true race from 1st to about 4th or 5th gear. also, is there any gear i shouldn't spray in? do higher gears make a differance, obviously there isn't as much torque in a higher gear.

I think NOS says there is about 3 minutes worth of racing in a 10lb bottle(but i believe that would depend on the size of ur shot, littler shot should last longer) if you couple this with it taking about 14-15 seconds to make a 1/4 mile run(again, drpending on ur shot) it equals out to about 15 runs. far as the gears, 1st gear is pretty useless to spray during in my car, just results in white smoke...and i wouldnt spray in 5th gear, would be a lot fo stress on the engine then trying to rev out that high of a gear.

First what in the hell kind of race lasts to 5th gear. You are still in 3rd at over 90mph. On the street I count the number of times I use it with every bottle. Usually after 10 races I'm usaully thinking refill regardless of how short or long they were. The longest I've ever had it on was playing with the G-tech. I have never raced and used 4th gear except highway races in which I had to down shift to 4th but thats in the 100mph plus range. Using nitrous in 5th gear is like throwing money away. Its not strong in 5th and before you now if you'll be out. To make an impressivre highway pass you still need to downshift to 3rd or 4th depending on how fast your going, at least I do.
