Well it happened....My crankcase breathed oil all through my air filter.....yay!
How much is ok to have leaking through the filter? I checked the dip stick and I am about a quart low...maybe a little less. The engine should be in fine running condition, because my EGTs are well within boundries and the engine is running really rich....anywhere from .96-1.0 on the voltmeter.
I looked through the archives, and someone mentioned that hard cornering causes the oil to come out......well I took an onramp last night at 65-70mph...could that cause the crankcase to spew the oil?

Well, I would not throw out that theory compeltely yet. IMO, it is possible that our cars are actually holding too much oil. Now, no one run out and drain your oil out!! But if you research these posts, it seems common. Plus I find mine to be a quart low on a regular basis and everything is perfectly normal. Now here is the funny thing, when it drops to 4 quarts everything is good and it no longer is losing oil like it does at 5. I am trying to look into this. Hopefully some neon guys might know something since they autocross more than we do.

The car idles perfectly, and is still perfect under boost. And no oil has come out until I boosted 5lbs around an on ramp going 65 mph, so I am not going to worry about it....Just going to out it some more Mobil 1 and clean my air filter. Hopefully I don't have any oil in my turbo....need to check on that.

Yep....I think this might be a design error on Mopars part....either the Oil pan is not deep enough, they F*%#ed up on the dip stick, all our motors have bad seals or rings or have a real hard time with boost!.....I get blowby every time I top my oil off (about 3/4 a quart or more (when I'm in the throttle hard with 15psi) then after the oil blows by I have no more...it seems!?!?!?......this is odd! Bill Hahn! you out there? What's your input on this subject. Do you get Blowby on your RS Monster???? What should we do? Should we worry? Hopefully Moroso or someone comes out with a Nice Oil Pan if that's the problem

You are right actually. I forget how much I put it in, whatever is listed as stock. I said 5, but I know it is more like 4.5. Regardless, I can put it another way. My dipstick will show full after I fill up. It shows one quart low are close to it after a few weeks or less. Then it stays at that level. I check very often.

Well, to tell you the truth, the boost automatically raised itself to 5psi. and now it is holding there. It was really rich....around 1 volt, then as the boost slowly began to raise, the voltmeter started showing slightly less voltage (obviosuly). Right now when I start the car, I am around .98, then after driving for a while, it gets down to .94-.95 and holds. That is at 5psi. All I do is readjust the fuel pressure at idle every few days (it seems to slip down to 40 from 50 after a few days...not sure why, but its fixable).
I just topped off the oil with another half quart, and I'm going to take it for a quick spin to see if there is any oil still coming out.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who is having this problem....there are others like me out there!

Call Hahn about the unstable fuel pressure. Mine is doing the same thing. I'll set it, turn the car off then back on, and it's all out of whack again. Also if I drive for 45 min or so, pressure drops all the way down to 20 psi! Under boost, pressure is good , it's just at idle. The next day, all is fine though. Bill seems to think that it's a problem with the FPR, and is sending a replacement to me. You might want to check with him.

have you replaced the pcv valve mine did that about a week ago when i had just gotten an oil change....i looked in the manual that comes with the hahn package and called them and emailed and the told me a faulty pcv valve WILL allow oill to come through the breather line....and i have had this car 6 mos...and it has 52000 on it....so i guess it was ready for a new pcv.....but check compression anyway just to be safe....

Well I installed the turbo last week, so last week was my last oil change. I have 22,600 miles. My PCV valve should really be ok...how could I tell if it is bad?
I will check my compression in the next two days, but I am confident that it is perfect. Detonation is caused by lack of fuel, and I have TONS of fuel, so I don't see how that could cause a problem.
