Well, I've got my kit and I dropped my bottle off yesterday to have it filled locally here in upstate NY. I takes 2 weeks! They have to send it somewhere to have it filled! Screw that, I'll just take a 30min. ride over to Vermont and get it filled there. Anyways, about the install: I figured since I'm not the most mechanical inclined person, that I would have someone who knows their shit put it on. That way if something goes wrong, I don't have to hear it from friends and family. The 2 guys that are gonna do it have never installed nitrous before(they are 2 older friends of mine). One of them has been working at a engine machine shop for almost 10 years and really knows his motors. The other guy is the top installer for my local car audio store. Hes been messin with car audio shit for like the last 15 years. He also knows his cars and owns 3 turbo'd shelby daytona/laser's. He pulls the motors in and out of those things like crazy, and really knows his turbo shit. So I think these 2 should be able to put this in fairly easy, even though they haven't done this before. What I want to know is, how much should I pay them. I told them I'd give them some $$ to do it, but I'm not sure how much. They are not really close friends of mine, they are just some of my local car buddie/hook-up's. I was thinkig $150 total, $75 each? How much did you guys pay that had someone else do it? I think it's possible that everyone here put it on themselves. I think I could do it with the help of my friend, but I wouldn't want something bad to happen. I wouldn't hear the end of it! Thanks a bunch guys, jesus that was long! Strauss 95 GS... NOS 70-shot

No joke man. i wouldnt pay them more than like 75 or 80 bucks....its not that involved. at 80 bucks, you would be paying them 10 dollars an hour, cause it should take them about 4 hours to do. if they want 125 bucks, use another 40-50 bucks and get it done professionally. hope you get it done soon though! by the way, what did that place charge you to send your bottle to get it filled?

Thanks guys. Actually, the place that I'd have to have install it is the machine shop that one of those guys works at! Oh well, I'll figure something out. As for the bottll Nitrous _RS1997, $32 to have it filled. Oh, one more question, can they install the nitrous without having the bottle? I'd like to have everything done so when my bottle gets back, I can toss it in and be on my way. Thanks...

If you got the NOS kit specifically for the T/E's they might have a problem not having the bottle because the lines are almost excatly the right length if they are running it under the car. But if you have already told then where you want the bottle mounted they should be able to tell you if the lines are long enough. Be careful NOS hoses are quite expensive if they don't get it right the first time or you could end up with a swiss cheese car.
