okay guys, so i was driving today, and for some reason, i decided to flick the switch, and floor it with an empty tank. well, i was shocked when i got "a little surprise" of boost. is this bad for my engine? the engine kinda hesitated for a sec, then quickly took off. i noticed that later on while driving in 2nd gear at about 2500rpm (nos off, of course) the car did a quick hesitation, as if it was hitting a rev limiter or something, then i took my foot off the gas, and it didn't happen again. would this be from "pooled" gas?

Im not Stan or Michelle...but ill try to help. the jolt that you felt even with an empty bottle may have been what was trapped in the nitrous feed line after you shut the bottle. as far as your car hesitating while the nitrous was ON, that sounds like low bottle pressure, least thats what mine does when the pressure is low and i spray anyhow. the hesitation while off the bottle may have been puddled fuel or something, that i dont know a thing about...but if you were running rich(low bottle pressure) like i said before, then that would cause excess fuel, mine just gives the good ole backfire!

fuel remains constant even with little/no nitrous (not a really an issue with a dry kit. the less nitrous the less fuel pressure is raised). I wouldn't make a habbit of doing it for no reason but I dont think your hurting anything.

Oh shit there's the ricer flame kit right there. push button fuel solinoid only. Let off the gas and hit it at the right time and bang fire out the ass (I guess a turbo would help for some heat production). Anythings better than an igniter in the tailpipe thats just too articficial.
