#43504, "Purge kit Ideas"

I would like to run a double purge in front of my windshield washer things on my hood. How would I do this. could I get some flex piping and split it at the end of the nos purge pipe so that way I could open my hood without it interfering. Do the hoses have to be metal or would rubber work.
Have any of you guys done this or seen the double purge used.

my purge goes is EXACTLY there. it's at the top of the hood, right in the middle, just between the wipers. the little pipe (very little) touches the hood when i shut it and comes out JUST enough not to be actually blocked by the hood itself. looks awesome when i have a full tank, there will be a while cloud 3 ft above the car...i'll get pics

Yeah definitely post pics if you can. Did you run the pipe thing through the hood or the plastic piece in front of the windshield. Do you think I could run two hoses off the end of the pipe and have two purges

What you want to do is actually pretty easy. You can T off your system using parts that are available from NOS or Earls. Simply run a line from your purge solenoid and T it off. Then hook up one of the compression fitting adapters to the brass line that is supplied with your purge kit. Run a brass line on each side of the T. A friend of mine did it one his car.

Here is a picture of my car purging. Click the link to see it. It is not out of the windshield, but out of the grille in front.

usually the rubber doesn't stick up like that. in the beginning it was resting ontop of the rubber, but it eventually cut thru.
the lil pipe goes to a t-fitting right before the nitro silenoid. the silenoid connects to one side, the nitro line to the other (in my case, it goes *in order from left to right in the pic* nitro line, pressure gauge fitting, purge fitting, then silenoid). you can also almost make out the throttle activation switch on...um, yeh...on the throttle
