WellI know that the Computer controled VCN-2000 nitrous kit that goes between $1100-$1500 will not work with our car. It is a dry kit and we need a wet kit. If the Venom 1000 (which I have yet to see info on) is a wet kit, than it very well may work. That depends on what activates it.

I would add bigger injectors also, and probably all the fuell upgrades to be safe, although the venom kit will not allow NOS to be injected there is not enough fuel... I really Wish i would have bought that VCN 2000....

Actually I have installed the vcn-2000 on an eclipse, and it worked great. Its true it dosnt inject fuel with the nitrous into the motor, but i still dont think it should be considered a "dry" system. The way it gets the aditional fuel for the NOS is via the injectors. It taps into each injector, and modifys the pulses to inject from the pcm, and tells the injectors to put more fuel into the motor, depending on How much NOS is being injected at the given at amount of throttle. So you are getting the fuel needed, just by a different source than most. Of course this also makes it a pain in the ass to install!!!

I don't know how much more our injectors can squirt in there though. I would only use the VCN-2000 if I had larger injectors like 330's or 440's but thats just me.

Who ever said the Venom didn't work, its the Zex that might not work because of the TPS activation voltage (and for 96up no return line). The Venom IS dry-if the intake manifold remains dry its dry. The difference between the venom and other dry kits is the method of adding addition fuel (all dry kits use the fuel injectors to add fuel). Venom pulses the injectors longer (like a DFI or aftermarket engine management would) and other dry kits raise fuel pressure (like a rising rate FMU would). No return line is needed to pulse injectors (otherwise your PCM wouldn't work) therefore no need for a return line like other dry kits.
Larger injectors would increase the potential power output of the venom kit. It will only supply a shot large enough for the injectors to compensate for at 100% duty cycle (the included LCD display dislays inj duty cycle). Larger injectors will work at a lower duty cycle allowing a larger shot. Wont be any safer. The Venom monitors o2 voltage and will shut off regardless of injector size if the AF ratio isn't sufficient.
The Venom IMO is one bad ass kit but for what it cost you might as well step up to full time power (turbo, hardcore NA work, whatever floats your boat). But if "money aint a thang" or you cant live without the features get it(the 3 or 4 modes of operation is the best feature it has. almost worth the $$).
Personally for me when a company makes something useless thats a rip off (venom 400 power module) I wont give em my money no matter how well of a product they make in the future so they aren't an option for me (call me old fashion).
