Well I had the stock spi boost guage in my car, and it was showing 6psi of boost, but then the spring on the back broke, and so i bought a autometer boost guage. Now the autometers have a hardline, so what I did was stick the hardline into the "soft" vacuum line that went into the spi, and zip tied it. Now my boost reads 10psi, which I dont see possible because I have a 7lb spring in the wastegate, and my manual boost controller is screwed all the way in. It seems to me that when i just barely tap the throttle that it will read 2psi of boost instead of zero, it is a new guage, any ideas on why it might be doing this?

seems like your gauge is busted... here's how u can test it: disconnect one of your ic pipes and go drive you car @ WOT and the gauge should read full vac<0>. If it does then you're boostin 10psi, if it reads something greater than wot then the gauge gotta go!
