By installing a high volume fuel pump, will this in any way hurt gas mileage ?

Nope!
All this does is insure you will have the same pressure at the fuel rail when you push the nitrous or when the boost kicks in.
Your FPR will release the extra fuel back to the gas tank.

Engine mods-
RS Akimoto short (P.O.S.!) intake, Greddy Sport Cat-back ex.
Suspension-
Ground Control Coil-overs,KYB AGX shocks, RS Akimoto strut bar(front) TSW Trouphies 18x8,Nitto 555's.
Exterior-
Paint! C.F. Hood, Z3 fenders, Street Fighter Gen 2
