This idea does not belong to me, but Laughin2.2 from honda-tech.com Anyway, this is for spraying massive amounts of nitrous. This could only be done on a totally rebuilt engine, and alot of other mods would need to be done before you could do this. So here it is, by using a DP Fogger system, and a standard dry or wet kit; plus a pair of progressive controllers, get gains thought to be only available from Turbo's. Ok, here is how it works, use the standard kit for 2nd gear, usning the progressive controller to flow the nitrous from 40 to 75 shots, this will minimize wheel spin. Once in 3rd gear, the stadard kit will continue to spray at 40 to 75 shots, but the DP Fogger system now kicks in, using the progressive kit, the flow of nitrous goes from 100 to 150 shots thoughout 3rd gear. Once in 4th, the standard kit continues to flow at 40 to 75shots, but now the DP Fogger spraying from 100 to 200 shots through 4th gear. In second gear, you are spraying a max of 75shots, in 3rd is where you win the race with a max of 225 shots, and 4th the max shot is 275. The progressive controllers, and lots of dyno tuning is what makes this possible. Using the progressive controllers, it is possible to have a HP curve that is very similar to a very steap Turbo setup curve. Dyno time is needed, must be able to smooth out the curve. An instant 275 shots would absolutely destroy an engine, but with the nitrous being brought on a a steady rate, no huge spiking should occur, and now we are closer to having the high HP reliability of Turbo, maybe more reliable, but since this has not been done yet, its not proven. We'll see. Just thought I would share with you guys.
95 Eclipse gone, meet the Lude. Now driving 97 Honda Prelude. Fast, but a few mods wouldnt hurt. How about a Cold Air Intake for starters...
