I need a solution....besides the manual itself.... I need help in wiring my nitro activation switch. I currently have a shift knob with a switch for the nitro activation that has a relay controller, so heres my current configuaration that doesnt work. shift knob wire goes to relay controller, the relay controller goes to ground on 4 prong automotive relay, I have a positive wire going from the 12v prong(on/off) to the battery, wire from 12v inn prong going to battery, then I have a wire from the 12v out prong going to the positive wires from the wot switch, nitro, fuel solenoids. (Those 3 positive wires are connected together going to the 12v out prong) This configuaration works for the other nitro accessories but it is not working for the nitro activation switch... now I heard from my previous post that the wot is a switch activated ground which should activate the relay once hit which then transfers power to the solenoid to open and operate correct. But my relay controller also activates the ground(relay) and that is where it is currently connected. So should I connect both the relay controller and wot switch to ground? but then where would wot switch be getting power(or does it need a positive) and would that work? Guys I really need help on this so if ya could help a brother out so I can enjoy the car steroids.

Okay did some researching.... tell me if this would do the trick before I go rewiring.... if I attach the positive wire for the wot switch to the ground as well as the wire from the relay controller to that ground then in theory since I have a relay controller for my switch which also acts as ground to activate the relay.... the relay wont activate until the switch button for relay controller is hit and the wot button is hit then relay would activate and send power to solenoids to open.... so in other words the wot switch and relay controller must work together to activate relay as opose to just one activating the relay so it wont work unless both switches are activated(wot and relay controller)

WOW that was some confusing reading! I am going to assume the wiring for the dry and wet are the same for the following. A wire, red, goes from the relay to the battery. One wire, lets say black, goes from the relay to a ground. Another wire, green, attaches to the wot switch, which is grounded. (I grounded both solenoids together and the wot switch and the relay together). Yet another wire attaches to the positive of both solenoids. And finally another wire, 5 all together, attaches to the switch. Concerning the switch itself one wire should be going to a CONSTANT power sourcem and the other wire coming from the switch. Unless your switch lights up you do not need a ground at the switch. And that should be it 2 grounds, 1 battery attachment, 1 wire to the solenoids, and 1 wire to the switch.

Also i should say i wired my wot switch to be a power switch and it blew up, it cant take alot of power through it, which is why it is a grounded connection.

Hey thanks for replying but I think I found a solution.
How did you know you blew up you wot switch and did you have to get another one? On your answer you said you hooked one of the wot wires to ground on relay but where did you route the second wire?

Dam it didnt work.... I am all out of ideas now!!! Does anyone know how to wire nitro activation to a knob switch that has a rely controller? Hooked up a temp switch for the time being but I want to be able to use the button on my shift knob emoji

I think i have a solution for your problem. I amguessing you dont have the NOS relay so here is a "rigged" solution. Wire the battery to the switch and wire the switch to the wot switch, wire the wot switch to the postive on the soleniods, and ground the solenoids out.
battery>switch>wot switch>soleniods (just dont forget to ground the soleniods)

That should work, i experimented with your problem on my car and it worked.

And yes i did blow the wot switch when i ran the battery through it, but it was only 2 bucks to get a new one.

Dont have the nos brand relay but I do have a 4 prong automotive rely that I used for everything else. My switch is not a ordinary switch it has one wire that connects to a relay controller (only) and from there the controller sends a low ground voltage to activate the ground on the relay which then transfers the input + to output+. I dont think my controller will work with wot switch so I hooked up the regular switch and am gonna live with it I guess... thanks for trying... hey if you wanna see the controller I am talking about check out www.varad.com and click on racer boy knob.
