I know, I know this has been asked before but I can't get the search engine to work. But what system to we need to run on a 99 non-turbo eclipse? I need to know, I will tell the rest of the story if what I'am thinkin is right. Sorry everyone, I know it has been asked before.
Attention moderators I suggest that this question gets put in the section: Things We've Seen Before. I beleive this question gets asked allot, I really didn't pay attention to the nitrous section untill now, I thinkin about gettin some.

Haha, well what is it, wet or dry? I thought it was wet and the guy at the import shop and I got in a huge fight today about it. He won't let me buy a wet kit which I originally thought I needed. He said I need a fogger system and I didn't agree with him. But then again that guy doesn't know anything about cars, he just thinks he does (wonder why alot of his customers cars are fucked up?) I am a mechanic at Dodge and I am pretty sure I know what I am talking about when it comes to cars, except I don't know too much about nitrous (I am learning fast though, I guess I need to.)
He also gave me this bullshit about upgrading my ignition system. Of course I agree with that, but I don't agree with what he told me to do. Here is what he told me to do: He went and looked at my engine and noticed that I had an ignition coil and not a distributor and this is what he told me I need to do, "Change from an ignition coil to a distributor to start with" ??????WHAT???? aaaaaaa I don't think that is possible. Fuck man I had to leave after that, I was so pissed good thing I know shit about cars and I know when that fucker is wrong, other wise my car would be totally fucked up. I only oder my shit from him, I have to admit he gives me damn good prices, just got a Greddy Evo for 480 new, that aint that bad. I install all my shit at the Dodge dealerhip I work at where I have all my tools and a lift (gotta love those air tools makes everyting sooo much faster) .

You need a wet system bro, don't know how that guy stays in buisness. You sound like a smart guy just let everything go in 1 ear and out the other but buy your stuff from him if his prices are that nice. NOS makes a fogger system which is a direct-port system (i.e. 100+ shot) if you ran something like that then yea you would need to upgrade your ignition and retard the timeing. I take it you just want a nice boost in performance without doing crazy stuff to your motor. You can run up to a 75 shot safely on your stock motor.

Thanks for all your help everyone. And yes I am only looking for a little boost in performance, I have something up my sleeve for some major hp }> I have a nice little snail (hint hint) sitting in my tool box at work, the snail needs a rebuild but it soon will be ready to go

Sorry 99Eclipse but you say up to a 75 shot is safe on a stock motor. Nothing is safe on stock motor w/ spraying or turbo. Depends on your luck. Make sure you get whole car checked out for any problems just to make sure you will be straight. Better safe then sorry. -Dave
