#41724, "did I fry a solenoid?? (long)"

Okay when I was installing my wet kit in a friends eclipse.... I got to the wiring of the 3 solenoids (purge, nos & fuel) Now I wasnt sure on how to wire his since I was using regular switches (toggle) versus how I wired it in my car with a low ground actvating switches on the varad shift knob. So finally wiring the relay up for the purge I wire it so the toggle switch turns the ground on and off whic would actvate the rely and send power to the unit to open... well I got it to work and it did but once I unhooked it and rewired it in the position the switch was going to be mounted it didnt work!! wtf so I try diff things and it still doesnnt work I couldnt get the nitro activation solenoids to work either and I never touched them... I hope I didnt fry them or anything cause the relys were clicki ng and sounded as they were transfering power to the solenoids but there was no action from them.... told my friend to have a shop finish the install since It took my whole weekend just trying to get those things to work.

any info would be helpful

tia
