I am thinking of getting a kit for my car. I am (after this weekend) runnig the HRC stage 4 turbo. I want to add nitrous to help spool the turbo up and get me down the track faster. The s16g is a great turbo but it just takes the thing forever to spool up. I dont think I would me doing anything real big like a 50 shot or anything. I just want it to kick start the turbo. I know very little about nitrous. What kit or app. would be best for my needs.

Since you're turbo, you'll need a wet kit. I suggest NOS kit 5208. It's a single fogger that sprays into the intake pipe near the TB. You can run any shot you want... you'd probably want a momentary 20-25 shot.

If you want a brand new kit, definitely order it from summitracing.com. The summit part number is NOS-05208. The description is probably wrong, but it's the right kit. It comes with 50 shot jets only. It's $499.95 plus shipping. You can order online and they usually ship the same day. I had a leaking hose in my kit, not their fault, and they overnighted me a new one. It was a $50.00 SS line! This is why I always recommend them.

Your gonna wanna dry kit not a wet kit for a turbo application. The 16g lag time is not bad at all, make sure your timeing is rite. Id only put nitrous on top of a 20g or bigger turbo personally.

A DRY kit?!? Why do you say that? Where's the extra fuel coming from? NOS recommends a wet kit for turbo applications. Also, he plans on using less than a 50 shot. I would definetely go wet kit here.

I was told this by Bill, he said if im going to want to run nitrous on top of a turbo that id want to use a dry system, e-mail him and ask him. As far as running nitrous on top of a 16g it sounds to me as if you havn't drove the car yet at a Stage 4 level. The 16g is a good all around turbo and turbo lag should not be a big problem. Now if you were running a 20g or a t3/t04 and makeing close to 500 HP than I could see you slaping on nitrous but do as you wish. A small shot wouldn't hurt anything expecially under a 50, thats nothing so you could.
