I ran a 75 shot (Nitrous Express wet kit) on stock pistons and rods for 3 months with no problems. I just rebuilt my bottem end with 10.5 compression so I can spray a 100+ shot.

First do a compression check to make sure your engine is in good shape. Next take your car to get a tune up, you want to make sure you have no problems before you spray. Get new spark plugs that are one range colder than stock. Alot of people here spray a 75 shot on stock internals. If you are worried about safety you can get a fuel pressure safety switch (it will cut off the nitrous if your fuel pressure drops). A purge valve is not a must, but it is nice to have. The purge valve will clear your nitrous lines of any air, and fill them with nitrous.

Your car is a 98 so you will need a wet kit. Nitrous Express and NOS make good kits for our cars. Venom also makes a kit, but I have never used it so I can't give you a review of it.

Hope this helps, if you have anymore questions just email me and I'll be able to help you.

I've been running a 80 shot with my Venom kit for about 4 months now. Car runs perfect still. 98,000 miles, stock fuel system.

I squeezed a 60 shot on my GS for over a year, no problems. My car had over 100K miles on it.
