Because you are running thick ass nitous line, and it would be kinda hard to run it under the door sills. I just ran it uner the car next to the brake and fuel hard lines. MUCH EASIER

you CAN run it like an amp power wire. thats how i did mine. with it in the car you don't have to worry about your straps breaking and your line dragging the ground.
