#41066, "Nitrous Gurus... Need Help!!!"

That is, if there are any nitrous gurus left. emoji Anyway, here are my questions:

1. Is the NX EFI wet kit compatible with our cars? I already asked the question recently, but my friend who will help me out with installing has some doubts. He wants to convert the single fogger to a direct port. He's asking me to buy a half-board (sp?) kit to do this. Is this necessary? He is pretty knowledgeable with nitrous, but I have doubts if he does know anything about our engines.

2. What were the gauges again? So far, I have the crappy a/f gauge. What else do I need again? EGT, nitrous pressure, etc? I'd love to search the board, but I'm on dialup and its really slow right now.

3. What else do I need for the kit? Miscellaneous stuff, like longer wires, etc?

4. Anyone in SoCal wanna help? emoji

Thanks for the info...

1.The kit will work for you, unless you plan on putting a huge shot out of the system i would just keep it as a single fogger via intake.

2.Important Gauges: A/F ratio, n2o pressure, Exhaust temp., and maybe even engine temp if you're paranoid.

3.If the kit is complete that should be all you need, maybe a different switch( i didn't like the stock one).

4. where in socal are you?

Mikey, what kinda shot are you gonna push? Cause I don't think you need a dirct port kit. The fogger will be fine for like a 75 shot.

Yeah, at most 75. Won't be going over that. Cool, guess I have to shop around for the gauges already then.

A 75 shot will suit you fine. It'll make a world of difference on the car.

That's what I ran and installed in my old car. If you wanna come to Tennessee in the car, I'll help install it emoji
