Hey. I'm new to here and i figured i'd be spending most my time in the nitrous section so i thought i'd introduce myself here. Wanted to know what you guys think my car will do. I have lots of DSM freinds but they all have GS-Ts and GSXs. I'm lazy and don't have loads od $$ so i went nitrous instead of turbo......for now. I'm running a NX wet kit. 50shot on 93 octane gas and 75 shot on race fuel. HAven't been tot eh track since i got my "nawwwwwwwwwwwws". Lookin forward to it. Lookin at my mods- what u guys think i could pull off? Well thanks for readin this and i hope to get to know u guys, Also- What kind of fuel are you using and what kind of tires????

you can run 75 on 93 octane. you dont need race fuel. a 75 shot should put up around a 14.8 if you are a 5 spd and know how to launch. some guys run low 14's and some run in the 15's.

14.8 would be a good estimate. What do you run with out the nitrous? Do you know? The 17" rims are gonna hurt you a bit but not too much. I've seen people run 75 shots and only get low 15's because of there driving. All driver!

Well, the only time i've been to the track i ran about 16 times and my best was 16.7. It was 105 degrees outside and my 8th non-stop run when i got that time. This was wihtout nitrous- just intake,exhuast,wires,& rims. I know you don't NEED pump gas. But with the miles and everything on my car- i just wanna be better safe then sorry u know. I was really scared of blowing my car up so i bought some extra stuff like an MSD rpm window switch. It makes my nitrous only turn on when armed,at WOT, and between 2800-7000 rpm so i don't run lean. I'm a pretty crappy driver so i'm gonna let one of my local club guys take it on a run- he is one of teh best drivers i've seen. Also on track day(whenever that it) i will have an MSD coil pack and hoping for some 14" wheels.

What shot were you using and what was it liek outside? You have a few more mods then me but a 14.3 would put me faster then most the GS-T and GSXs in my local car club. WE have a Top10 for our local club and a low 14 pass would kick butt so i'm gonan try to copy you as best i can. But you may also be a friggin awesome driver which my come into play.

HEck yeah. THere is actually a DSM club here in wichita that has a few people that would prob come up too. If You in KC u should go to http://kansasdsm.shorturl.com its teh forum where The Central Kansas DSM club hang out. You have AIM or anything?
