I am very interested in nitrous, but i have one main concern that has not been addressed that i have found. Can i run a 75 shot on 91-92 octane gas with no ill effects. I know some about the rest of the set up and am constantly learning, but that is the best octane i can get in KS/MO and need to know if i can run it wiht no problem. I really dont want ot put in a bottle of octane booster wiht each tank, i just want to spray when i want, and not worry if i have the right octane, or for that matter, can i spray that on 87 octane.

Ok, with n2o you can run it comfortably on 91 octane gas and not have to worry. I personnaly wouldn't on 87 but you can. Another personnal thing I do is I do put a bottle of octane booster the fillup before I know I'm going to squeeze because the higher the octane the better the run and better performance. Don't think of it as a burden to add an octane booster (I like the silver NOS octane booster bottle), think of it as insurance and better performance. hope I was of any help

I definitely would not spray a 75 shot on 87 gas without a booster. 91-93 gas will be fine when running a 75 shot, but as usual make sure your ignition system and fuel system are in good working order. Just to be safe here's what I'd do: Run your 50 shot jets first with 91 gas, see how it reacts. If it runs ok and your A/F and EGT are in range, then step up to the 75 shot. Your new with nitrous, work your way up and make sure everything is fine before you step up, I'd hate to see you blow your engine because you couldn't wait on the 75's power.

Thanks for the responses guys, I figured that 87 was a no no after i got the nitrous but just makin sure. I will take your advice blitzed adn work my way up to a 75, b/c i sure as hell dont want ot blow up my engine b/c i couldnt wait. Ill just be patient and have fun. Alos i will ad the octane booster to the 91 or 92 if i know i will be spryin a lot on a certain bottle.
