#40630, "looking for a SAFE, wet nitrous kit question"

I've heard different things about different kits, just want to hear from you guys...I've got a 97 talon, and am interested in getting a nitrous wet system...so I believe I've got the choices of Venom, NX, and NOS. When reading about Venom I like the idea of the computer controlled module seeing as how I don't have an SAFC and have a stock fuel system. I'd plan on probably only running a 50 shot, possibly a 75 a most, so what do you guys think? I also like the idea of having the WOT switch and am not sure if the kits come with that or not...Well please any opinions or tips would be appreciated, thanks

If you are going to run a 75 shot I would go with the NOS directport, summit has it for about $600, but the smallest shot you can run with that kit is 75. I think most guys on here have really good luck with venom with smaller shots.

well i ran my car for almost 2 years on a NOS 75 wet shot. during that time my entire fuel system was stock, and i had no nitrous related problems except for a slipping clutch. i recently did a compression test on my car before i began installing my turbo kit, and my numbers were rock solid across the board.

in my opinion all nitrous kits out there are the same. they all work off the same principle, bottle pressure and jetting. the only reason i went with NOS is because the replacement parts were alot easier to find in town. shops around here are more likely to carry NOS kits and parts than any other maufacturers'.

if i were you and i just wanted to run a 75 shot on the car, i would simply do a tune up, make sure everything is in order and running properly, and then be prepared to have a good time.

also i just wanted to add that i was running a single fogger kit. i believe the lowest you can run a direct port nos kit is 80.

I have a NOS dry kit that I'm making into a wet kit. Where should I mount the fogger nozzle?
