I think my O2 sensor is gone...cause I suddenly noticed a drop in gas mileage. (I also notice the slow refresh rates when the car from movement comes to complete stop (idle), the O2 voltages sit at 0.9X for a few long seconds..HMMM.)
What O2 sensor should I get? An aftermarket one, ie BOSCH? Should I get one for the 420a or the 4G63 or are they same?

Well, since I just had to do this today, I guess I could offer some help...
I noticed that it was going bad when gas mileage was getting worse. What really tipped me off was when my A/F meter would never reach full rich at WOT and didn't cycle like it normally did during closed loop operation... kinda like it was out of calibration... Also, I had a Service Engine Soon, or CEL, come on. I went ahead and tried to switch out the A/F meter hoping that was the problem. Nope, so I had to go spend $120 bucks on a new O2 sensor from NAPA. It is a universal 4 wire and it is designed to use the factory harness... Took all of 20 minutes to get the job done. I tried the Mitsu Dealer and they wanted $170 for theirs. I also tried a Dodge dealer and the one from them is about $120. For the same damn part!!! Would have gotten the one from Dodge if they would have had it in stock.
The Bosch are good, but I don't know if they are universal or if they come with a harness to plug it right in...
I noticed a difference right away. I know I have been running real rich since the boost, but I guess it just slowly fouled the O2 sensor over time. Never really noticed the loss of power until today when it all came back... Now I know I have to invest in an AFC as soon as posible. Mostly cause they are kewl, but also cause these damn sensors are so damn expensive...

Well my O2 sensor snapped off during the turbo install, so I had to buy a new one...it cost 93 dollars from a parts supplier nearby. Was a pain in the ass, but it is a really nice part just get a universal sensor for the 420a. a lot cheaper and works the same as from the dealer.
