Well I was saving for a turbo but I'm tired of not seeing to much high horsepower nitrous guys here so I'm gonna switch to a direct port kit from a dry kit. Then the rebuild and everything else will come shortly after. So does anyone have anysuggestions on who has the best direct port kit and maybe some links to em. TIA

I have to agree with ^^^^him. When I get my car back from the rebuild thats the kit I'm going with. At least there will be 2 of us making big numbers with nitrous. Jesse

Im going with 10.5:1, my engine builder and Howell both said that 12:1 was to high for street gas. IF you are gettting stuff from Howell order it way before you need it . Jesse

hey guys i jiust put a direct port set up on my spare manifold. I actually have so many extra nos parts that I was able to build a kit and all i really needed was the jets. I will try to get pics up soon. I mounted the whole set up on the front underside of the upper manifold( right behind the fuel rail) I hope to make some pretty mean numbers. I actually ran in to one problem though, If you try to run in there order the nylon lines from nos instaed of the piping the bend are too tight and to short(they are rated at like 2000 psi or something) well anyways I'll try to get some pics.late mike

Im about to be adding a direct-port kit back onto my car. Im gonna go with a NX kit, just because thats what i had a while ago, and i was real happy with the performance and quality/lasting power of the components. in all honesty though...nitrous kits arent very "high-tech" when you get down to it, so i say go with the one you find the cheapest from a good place on E-bay. they all "Revolutionalized nozzle this" or "improved spray pattern that", bleh, if it sprays nitrous and fuel it will work. goodluck with it man, its good see so many of you guys taking the road less traveled and going with nitrous. i wanna see a 12-second all nitrous timeslip soon! www.TeamKLR.com 1997 Silver RS 12.3@118mph,20psi, race gas(drag radials) Wiseco 10.5 Pistons Eagle Rods T3/T4 Turbo Custom FMIC Greddy Exhaust 440's
