#4049, "I just got my gauges but have a few questions?"
I just got the following gauges today: boost,A/F, EGT, Fuel pressure and have some questions for you all to answer. My EGT Gauge only reads up to 1600 F. Is this a problem that I would have to worry about? Now that I have the EGT gauge, I also have to get an EGT probe right? This was what I wasn't really sure about. If I do then, where can I get one and how much is it? The gauges that I ordered are all Autometer Gauges. Sorry for the dumb questions. As you all can see I'm new to turbocharging and am just waiting for my Wastegate to arrive for my Star stage 1 kit. Then I'll be ready to boost. Dam I can't wait! Any help is appreciated.

Where did you buy your gauges from... The reason I ask is because you should have bought the EGT with a probe... I have the Autometer EGT and mine came with a probe. If it's not too late, see if they will allow you to exchange. They are cheaper if you buy as a set as opposed to separately.
BTW, 1600*F is plenty high. You don't want the EGT's to reach that temp. Max temp at WOT should be no higher than 1500-1550*F.
I paid $45 each for my A/F and my Boost gauges and $105 for the EGT with probe if that helps with pricing.
