Has anyone done that? Is it possible to change the stock downpipe from the 420A to one that can actually bolt into a turbo? Whats the usual price range that some muffler shop could charge for something like that?

If you are talking about a custom setup using the stock downpipe. You would have to have a DP like the HRC one made for whatever turbo you run that will slip over the stock DP where you cut it or something similar.

Are you talking about using the stock exaust manifold to mount the turbocharger?? If so,then yes, it has been done, but i believe there were fitment issues, mainly with the A/C compressor i think. It puts the turbo down pretty low, where there is less room to work with. IMO, the stock exaust mani is designed pretty well, and a turbo would work with it decently. I think someone bolted a turbo to it using only 2 bolts, and it worked. There was thread about this a while back, see if you can search it up. There were pics of it too.

Actually I was talking about using motofools exhaust manifold paired with a 14b turbo. Then instead of crafting a completely new downpipe, modifying the stocker to bolt into the turbo. I dont really know where to get a "custom" one made unless I drive over to an exhaust shop with no downpipe after I install my turbo.

yea, hes talking about making a HRC style downpipe,
id say it would be about 50$ give or take depending on the shop you take it too...
just make sure you buy a downpipe flange and take it in there when you go to have it made..

You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.
If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good. If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast. If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.
