With my old Maxima if you wanted performace gains but wanted to keep stock sound you would just upgrade the piping from the y-pipe all the way back to the muffler but keep the stock muffler. The stock muffler had enough flow where the only benefit of upgrading it was the sound. Is this also true for Eclipse's? I have a Hahn stage 2 turbo kit with 2.5" full exhaust. If I wanted it to sound stock could I just put the stock exhaust on? Would I lose a lot of performance?
