OK just a few questions

1. Why do I get so much blow by from my breather filter? This only happens when I drive the car hard. It leaves a decent size puddle (on the ground)afterwards. Kinda like its dipping down from the fire wall.

2. Anything below 4k under full throttle just bucks he hell out of the car and me. Will a MissingLink solve that?

3. I have stock everything but the turbo kit and the AFX UDP. Are 270cc injectors to much fuel wth a 12-1 Vortech FMU?

4. I have a MSD 255lph inline pump. I also have a Venom 55 gph intake pump. Is that too much fuel getting pumped in?

Only time i ever got notiecable blow-by was when my #3 started losing compression :o

How do you have the pcv and valve cover breather routed?

IF the bucking is due to the fcd not adjusted properly, it could be due to fuel cut, in which the missing link would help. Sorry, cant be more help here, 95s dont need any sort of voltage clamp on the MAP, so i never had to deal with them.

Yes, some of that bucking may be from running rich even. You will need to replace that 12:1 fmu w/ a sfmu when you put the 30lb injectors in.

besides...your supposed to send those 270's to me :Þ emoji hehe

Where are your fuel pressures at? @ idle? 0 vacuum? full boost?

so you are saying that you have an inline pump a 12:1 disk in your fmu and bigger injectors all of this installed and no turbo kit?
you are definetly runnning too much fuel.
your oil puddles could be due to having a broken pcv valve. check that and see if its blooking air from the intake manifold from going into the valve cover.
you might also want to check your compression to see if everything is good inside the cylinders.

I am going to get a compression check done at work tomorrow. God.. I have had the kit on for 2days and only drove like 20 miles, I hope nothing is wrong yet?

Ryan, don't worry I am mailing the injectors tomorrow.

I only get blow by under boost. Then there is a lot of oil coming from the breather filter. The flter just vents in to the atmosphere.

Do you have a catch can or anything? A catch can will tell for sure how much oil is being lost by way of blowby or increased manifold pressure. The fact that you are running really rich might also contribute to the higher manifold pressure. For instance, when you are under boost, increased engine load and "sluggishness" or "hesitation" from running too rich, could cause a "greater" load. I'm not saying that this is the cause, but this was what I noticed when I first began boosting with a really rich fuel setup with a stage 2 turbo system. It would also be a good idea to switch to an S-FMU so that you can experiment with different disks, or get an adjustable FPR, similar to the Cartech that HRC uses in their turbo system.

If the pcv is busted, that could also result in blowby, so dont assume the worse yet. Your PCV wasnt designed to see boost, so it could just be to much pressure not being relieved and forcing oil out the breather. Relocate the the pcv line from the intake manifold to a source before the turbo...then it will still see vacuum, but never boost. Dunno about the NER kit, but the hahn K&N filter has a cutout in the back where a hose barb fits into just for this (altho its not mentioned in the directions). then just cap off the intake manifold or use that for one of your vacuum source (thats what i used for the bov for its own vacuum source)

Either that, or you can route both the breather and pcv to a catch can, pcv wont work quite the same way, as itll always be at 0 vacuum, but it will never see boost either and access pressure will stll easily be relieved thru the breather.

You may also wanna go ahead and replace the pcv too when u reroute the lines, believe its only a couple bux.

I had very little to no blowby up until #3 went bye-bye...then i had a LOT of blowby anytime i went into boost, and lots of smoke in boost (drove fine out of boost tho). At that point, i also had smoke out the dipstick tube when the motor was running.

man i must have been drunk or something last night.. (re read your post today lol)
ok so you do have turbo hehe...
so yeah check your pcv valve it is probably damaged you might want to replace it with a stronger one like a brake line check valve. or just re-route it to the catch can like they said.

Hey! this is my most recent issue. Im not seeing any smoke from the dipstick, but im getting a lot of oil out of my air filter from the breather line. Let me see if i understand what your saying.. Connect the pcv line to the breather hole (with the pcv valve still inline) on the k&n af? then cap the opening in the intake mani and put a breather filter on the breather line? im retarted... i think that makes since. emoji

Right, your pcv wasnt designed to see boost, so you should route to where it wont: before the turbo or to a catch can.

disconnect the pcv from the intake manifold, and reroute that line to a point before the turbo (such as the barb on the back of the Hahn K&N air filter). This way, it will never see boost, only vacuum. Your vc breather should be routed to a filtered catch can.

the just cap off the intake manifold barb, or use it for one of your vacumm sources.

Or you can just route the pcv and vc breather to the same catch can.

Some people above noted your PCV valve may be leaking, but I think it's very likely that your oil feed line for your turbo situated on the back of the block may bot be sealed well. Give that a check.

Also, check out your oil pan. Perhaps, there might be an issue there. What you're experiencing after only 2 days of boosting sounds more like an install issue rather than blow by.

Typically, people can only detect blow by from oil thats present from the valve cover breather or the PCV valve, neither of which are likely to have leakage issues on to the ground as long as you have the lines in order.

Another thing to check is to make sure that the PCV is installed correctly. If it's backward, well, you'll always get a lot of blowb emoji

I am going to do a compression test tomorrow. Its making a funny noise and vibrates like crazy above 2500 rpm. It also revs very sluggisgh at low RPM out of boost, althought that might be due to running too rich. I'm lost. Hopefully Fast420a is coming over Friday to cheeck things out.

I HOPE it's just an install issue. That will be easy for me to fix. If it's a bad piston or 2, well I do have 2 extra stockers sitting at home. I'll bring the datalogger and see what the injectors are running at. I think it's going to be something easy.
