#39808, "What's wrong with my throttle output?"

When I do a "datalogging" to record and read my throttle percentage with my Accel DFI (with a laptop), the most throttle percentage I can see is 77%, and this is with the gas pedal to the floor! I've tried swapping in a good TPS and that didnt solve it. I've tried adjusting the throttle linkage cable (tighten and loosened), and that didn't change my WOT throttle %. I'm stumped. I don't know what else could be wrong. Did I miss anything? Any ideas?

that's just the way it is. i think the loggers are made based on 0 volt when the throttle plate is closed and 5 volts when fully open. so it shows only 77 percent at wor and 12 or so when closed.

Did you disconnect the battery just recently?? My AFC use to do that. After about 4-5 days it slowly would go up untill at 100%. I think it's the ECU adjusting shit.

Yeah, I actually disconnected the battery to clean up some wiring and such. I'll try to drive the car around for a few days to see if it'll show any change. If what James' stated is correct about the logger throttle voltages, then that makes sense.

When I had an S-AFC, it would register 100% when I floored it, but the Accel DFI just isn't the same I guess. The reason I'm worried is because, if 77-78% is all the DFI "sees" and if I'm actually running 100% load, then that would mean that it's using an insufficient fuel map. Hmmm...I'll keep checking. Thanks! Any more ideas?

^^^^^ Me too. The most important thing is to have the base voltage set right; don't worry about the max. I ovalled out my mounting holes for the TPS so I could adjust it more. I think min. voltage is supposed to be .5v.
