How do I install this thing? It's a black box with 4 wires coming out of it. Red (for power I assume), black (ground, right?), green, and white. Which wires go where?

if it was me id trash it and grab a missing link....
they are only 50$ and are so much better
You can have it cheap, fast or good. Pick any two.
If you want it cheap and fast, it's not going to be good. If you want it cheap and good, it's not going to be fast. If you want it good and fast, it's not going to be cheap.
Yea, I agree with ^^^^^^^. I believe you save splicing the wires if you use a Missing Link. I don't have one yet though, I got the crappy HRC 'black box'!!!!!

i've got both. the "mystery box" and the missing link. there's something wrong with my missing link where it only gives me fuel cut at exactly 0 psi, not above or below. so i left my FCD in there to fix that problem. vacuum -> boost -> vacuum is pretty smooth, a lot better than just the FCD.

Damn that's pretty interesting leaving the FCD and the ML in there. I didn't know you could do that.

I have a 1996 Eclipse GS with the missing link and don't experience any sort of fuel cut or problems with it that others seem to have. It was definitely worth the $50 bucks. I have never installed the HRC black box from the start. I am not sure but maybe the later ECUs are more sensitive than the early years.
