i was thinking of trying to see if brake lines would be a better way for a better vacuum flow than hoses, especially the one from the wastegate to the turbo compressor. that hose runs hot , and i think with brake lines might do the trick since they wont flex and expand under high boost.

It'd look nice, but its probably more trouble than its worth. I agree silicone isnt the best, so if i was you i would just use fuel hose or similar and common vac t's with small metal fastners, easy if you need to replace a section, and you dont have to bend pipe

i use 5/16 fuel hose for most of my important vacuum lines. works pretty well, and it's a lot shiner and better looking than dull old sillicon vacuum hoses. if the 5/16 is too big, i just clamp it down good and tight. works for most stuff in my engine.

oh i as well have 5/16 fuel lines on all my vacuum lines, it's that i would think having alluminum brake lines will have a smoother flow than rubber hoses as like alluminum piping to an intercooler. it probably have a better effect. i for one could get these lines for cheap since i work at an auto parts store, if no one has tried this, i guess i'll be a 1st here. i'll give it a try and see if makes a difference.

Hey whats up. Ive been running 4an stainless lines for a couple of months now. Reason being is because my wastegate line got brittle and exploded. It is a little pricy and not all the fittings need real(compression) fittings(ie your boost controller box) But i have changed all my vac lines to stainless cause i could not trust the whole wire tie bull shit. true fit , positive pressure, no leaks, I would not go with the nylon lined hoses but actual rubber stainless 4an from earls is what i use. late mike
