#3951, "I have a few questions about the Star stage 1 turbo?"
Does anyone that has the star stage 1 turbo boost more then 5psi? Would it hurt at all to boost a little more with the Star stage 1 kit if I wanted to? I heard that you can hit mid to high 14's with this kit, but that's with everything else stock right? I have an AFX underdrive pulley, Bosch Platnim +4 spark plugs, 8mm magnacore wires, a custom 2-1/2 inch exhaust with a high flow cat. converter, and a Topspeed muffler with a back pressure valve. My turbo is also in E trim. Can any Genuis help me figure out how fast I would be running in the 1/4 after I get my turbo install. I'll be running on my stock tires which are the GT 500s Sport trac tires. Thanks DSM friends.

I do not have a Star setup, but I can tell you that 5psi would be the max on a non-intercooled setup regardless of which kit. You risk running into detonation problems without intercooling which really limits your boost capabilities.
