Im installing a custom turbo kit and I need a new fuel pump. Any suggestions and where I might find one? ive been looking at Walbro. Is there any difference in the turbo model of the pump vs the NT model? thanks

the HRC kit uses an in-line accel fuel pump that works with the stock in-tank pump. it works well, but it's quite loud. i recently bought a walbro because i heard that it quiets down the HRC "raped pig" in-line pump.
i wouldn't go with just a walbro in-tank pump, the walbro 255 might suit you up to about stage 2 if you're lucky, but it's kind of risky. it's best to have an in-line pump just to be sure.

What kind of fuel system have you decided on?
A steep rising rate FPR setup(like a Cartech or Vortech)? Yeah - with that kind of fuel system, I would probably run the Walbro 255HP intank and another inline - just like ner said ^^^.
If you've decided on an 8 injector setup(with a 1:1 FPR), then you don't need the HP pump, but upgrading to the Walbro intank isn't a bad idea- especially if you want to run alot of boost.

Here's a link to a previous post. It has the model number of the pump purchased, specifications of the pump, and installation instructions of what needs to be *slightly* modified to get the pump to fit.

I'm also building a custom kit. I have a Walbro inline pump if you want it. I've been trying to get rid of it for a while. The model number is GSL393, its not the very best but is better then nothing. PM or email me if your interested. I've never used it, I got a walbro intank pump instead.
