Have any of you ported your turbo.... i know for the 4g63 it's good but i don't know if it's any good for the 420a.... can some of you alabrate on this..... TIA

1998 Eclipse RS --show car--

I did a little porting to my t3/t4...nothign major but more air is never a bad thing...if your porting anything open up the exhaust mani, intake mani and both ports on the head...the engine responds really nice to the extra flow...take your time w/ a good carbide bit and the best tool i've seen to use for porting is the craftsman rotozip tool, you can get the flex attachment like the dremel one and this thing will cut through head like freaking hot butter...its money and if you can buy one

yeah i know about porting i have it done to alot of my 90 gsx but now i'm about to turbo the showcar and i haven't seen this mentioned before..... thanks though for the reply

i am sure it will only be a good thing if you port anything on the 420a, but if you don't have the internals to support the other horse power i think it would be a means to an ends.

more air = blow your engine = rebuild = put more air through = more
power.
