well i'm one that i hate having to order these when it comes time to change them. i work at advance auto parts, and there's a book to cross reference spark plugs. i found out that there's other plugs that have the same refrence as of the ngk bkr7e-11.

Champion spark plugs: stock# 3344 costs $2.39 each pre gapped .035
AC Delco: stock #9 $3.99 each pre gapped .035

i'm going to try out the acdelco ones 'cause they look like a good quality sparkplug, but now you guys have a way of getting a colder spark plug and not having to go order them anymore, you can get them at every parts store. hope this helps.

hmm wierd. I can special order my 7e-11's from Advance Auto parts, and get them the same day, or the next day. You are talking about the chain store "Advance Auto Parts" right? Maybe its something different hehe..

Me too. Advance Auto Parts

I just ask for NGK stock #1283. It takes 2 days for them to arrive. I also pay $1.39 per plug and get another 10% off. I usually just order 12-16 plugs at a time since I change mine every 2K miles.

These things have held up to 1700F and still kicked ass. I would use nothing but NGK in my car....IMHO They have recently come with a new box design and the plug is more of an aluminum color than brass. I am sure it is the exact same plug, just noting the different look.

his point is: if you don't want to order them and want them RIGHT then, then you can get these other ones, grow a brain.

yes exactly, i'm just giving you guys other options than having to buy ngk, you know if you guys don't have the time to wait to order them, you will always have a different alternative. i can care less if you don't choose the other plugs, but i tried the acdelco's today and gapped them to .032, they gave me good results. for my result, my egt's were way colder than the bkr6e-11's. cold start idle egt i was 775f, after a boost run, at the stop light i was 875 f. cruising at 60mph i was 1175 f and cruise at 75-80mph i was 1275f. i thought it was as good as using the ngk bkr7e-11's a long time ago.

Fyi, the NGK BKR-7E-11 is unnecessary. You can just get the BKR-7E (no -11) and they're the same exact plugs, just gapped correctly already. Part number for BKR-7E is 6097.

Champions are what came with our cars from the factory.
