#3859, "VC1 wire tap question..again"

Sorry for asking this guys, but after looking throught the archives I couldn't find my answer. I finally got my VC1 clamp and after reading the wire diagram in my manual it the black w/ yellow stripe wire, seemed to be the right one to hook up to. I hooked the battery back up and started the car. As soon as it started the CEL came on. I checked the code and I got a code 14. Did I tap the wrong wire maybe? I sure could use some help.

it is the black and yellow wire but remember you have to cut the black and yellow wire in half and one wire goes in too the map sensor and the other wire goes to the output side of the black wire the black and yellow wire should not be touching eachother after you cut it in half and remember check your ground and power wires
