I went to the local 1/8 track last week-end and had disapointing times I only won 2 out of 6 races. One race I won against an 2003 Tiburuan , the other I was an 93 4.0L Jeep Chereokee. My best reaction time was .455 and my best 1/8 time was a 9.7 against a camaro
but most of my runs were in the low to mid 10s which to me all these are disapointing to me. I'm ordering my Vortech S-FMU this week I've had it with the Craptech. To much of running lean and rich and overheating the engine, and detonating everytime my tranny shifts it sounds like its farting everyone talks about it and laughs about it. I also was geting 6 to 4lbs of boost where I'm suppose to b getting 8lbs, yes I did check all the connectors before I raced they were all tighten down. But What do you guys think? I also have a few questions to ask . Would the fuel injectors off a gst work on a 99 gs? Where can I get a good computer for my car sence the gst computer doesn't work for ours? Will a 60mm T/B work good on my car? BTW I'm a stage 2.
Where can I find a full 3inch exhaust set-up from the downpipe to the cat or testpipe and I need to get a 3inch Apexi N1 exhaust pipes where can I get the pipes at? What is all invovled in our bottom ends? I'm still running on our stock bottom ends thats another reason I had such bad times at the track. Would a 1st gen eclipse gst SMIC be better than the HRC SMIC? What else should I get for my car to help me run better? Well thats all I have for right now please help me out I really apprciate all the help I can get. Thank you

boy u sure crammed alot in that post but ill answer it since u seem frustrated....


to keep stable boost u probably need a bosot controller to control the boost, and keep your waste gate closed the proper amount of time,

the fuel injectors off a gst will kind of work they are high impedance u need to have a resitor pack and the orings dont quite fit well in our fuel rails...

there is no decent turbo ECU out,

i can set u up witha cat back exhuast pm me for prices on certain models

a 60mm tb will work u will ahve to get a jeep throttle body or wait for a modern performance one...

the downpipe onlye goes as high as 2.5 for the ERT or the Kooks custom header style,
a muffler shop can bend u a 3"

the Hahn sidemount is slightly larger then a 1g side mount intercooler so it by rights should out perform it...

last night I ported/polished his TB and made his butterfly open up all the way now, his car hauls ass. He can be rolling 20 mph, stomp it, and get a NICE LOUD tire squeel.
