I remember seeing this thread a long time ago but can't find it. What do I need to ask for from the dealer to be able to have studs for the entire manifold? I think it was like 8mm or 10mm studs but I don't know if they come in a set or something or how much they are. Any input? TIA

Matt_95tgs just got 4g63 studs, and they are too big. I always thought they would fit, but they were the wrong size. Either they really dont fit, or he got the wrong stuff. Someone may want to clarify using these studs.

I bought the 8mm studs from Satan and replaced the HRC bolts. They were expenisve, but a lot easier to install than the HRC ones.

Just go to the hardware store and buy larger automotive studs. Get a tap and make the holes larger. User a corse thread as the stock thread sucks. I have stripped two of them. They aren't made to hold like the turbo studs. I have done this and you can get the manifold much tighter to the head. No exhaust leaks.

I'll post the part numbers tonight when I get home. Then we need to put the post somewhere that everyone can find it.

I'm using 4g63 studs, they're all 8mm. Got mine with copper lock nuts from RRE for $2 each. They're cool, but I have had a couple come loose because I didn't seat the stud well enough. Definitely worth every cent though.
