#38164, "rotating the s16g compressor housing"

...is there a way to make the compressor outlet point down (a more useful direction unless you're stage 1) like the t3/t4 in the star kit? i'm guessing that i'd have to get some snap ring pliers and mess with it, and i'd have to find another way to mount the wastegate. seems like it would be easier to do custom piping that way for a side mount or a front mount intercooler. has anyone done this?

p.s. if anyone has any custom piping pictures for a FMIC (like a starion FMIC or something) please post them. just trying to get ideas on how to move up to a FMIC. thanks.

You can do that if you go with an external wastegate. Then you can weld off the hole for the actuator arm and rotate the housing. Otherwise, you will not have any boost control. (I really don't know how successful a jury rigged wastegate arm would be for the internal)
